Technology Transfer
Technology transfer is an integral function of BW’s Technology Partnerships Initiative. Our partners work together to transform new ideas into actionable solutions, to support academic research that drives innovation, and to develop technologies and services that address unmet needs of society.
Our work supports the transfer of knowledge and discoveries from the university environment to the general public through research publications, educating students and preparing them for entry to the workforce, building relationships with industry and community partners, and driving new forms of regional collaboration throughout Greater Cleveland.
Most importantly, we ensure that such innovations and technologies become broadly available to the public, maximizing the benefit to our region.
